Book 1 - Summer 2015




Summary:

An independent city-state recently founded by subspecies of humanity, Allens is where citizens of the Colonies are sent upon discovering their "Abnormal" heritage in order to avoid discrimination from the same humans they once considered themselves to be. Due to the ever-advancing technology, regulations, and customs of the growing city, new citizens are sent to the Academy of Immigration to learn how to properly live peacefully together. However, many new immigrants still hold hostile feelings towards Abnormalities and prejudice is common within Allens' walls. Students must learn to put their former families, friends, and foundations behind them, start anew, and learn to live the life of what may have been their darkest of nightmares or brightest of dreams.


Update:

Currently the plan is to have Abnormalities written as a three-part series, with a possible prequel for one of the antagonists. As of now I'm working on the first book in the series and plan to be for some time still. I will most likely not consider publishing the first book until the first draft of the 2nd is complete.
